Twin pipes are very widely used in animal housing heating systems. They consist of flat aluminium profiles around a 22 mm pipe. Twin pipes have a higher heat output than Delta pipes. Twin pipes can be fitted in different places: usually flat against the wall, in the air inlet duct or under the ventilation ceiling.
Twin pipes should ideally be mounted on the section walls. Combined with a perforated ventilation ceiling, this ensures optimal heat distribution in your animal housing.
Our twin pipes are available in two configurations:
- standard twin pipes – 22 mm
- special twin pipes – 28 mm (higher heat output)
The special 28 mm twin pipes are mainly used in piglet sections. With their rapid, high heat output, these 28 mm twin pipes get the piglet section up to the right temperature fast.
Even when used with a heat pump (low temperature heating), the 28 mm twin pipe is the most cost-effective heat output profile.
Features of twin pipes:
- twin pipes are anodised
- pipes machined down to 22 mm or 28 mm
- all lengths up to 600 cm supplied
- including various fixing systems
- very easy to clean
